Cantab is an organisation in which people grow into managers. We give beginners a chance, but we also give people with several years of work experience the opportunity to become a manager with us. People who join our company have completed higher education, but their study directions may vary greatly. This is because with us, people develop skills they do not learn during their studies. To develop these skills, you start with us in a Management Development Programme, where you are put on a practice-oriented training path to acquire professional knowledge in the area of B2B marketing and management skills. This acquired knowledge and skills, combined with your ambition, enables you to develop further into a marketing consultant or Team Development Manager.
To ensure you get a good command of the required skills, you will be supported by a Team Development Manager who will act as your career coach, and you will formulate a development programme together that is targeted towards your personal ambitions and competences. You play the lead role in your development programme, and therefore determine your own development.
Working on projects in an international company
If you want to develop into one of our managers, you need to accumulate a large amount of knowledge of marketing issues and business problems in a relatively short amount of time. To acquire this knowledge, you will work on a project basis, so that you will be exposed to a large range of clients and issues. You will change teams frequently, and your own role within a team will gradually change to give you more responsibilities.
Because we operate internationally from offices in Amsterdam, Ghent, Paris and London, you will probably be working in multi-cultural teams. In order to have an international career with Cantab, we require you to be multilingual.
